Neumeier Poma Investment Counsel’s philosophy is based on our belief that the coverage of small cap stocks ($500 million – $4 billion market capitalization) by Wall Street’s research machine is often inconsistent and/or incomplete.

Our investment process seeks to exploit these inefficiencies, helping our portfolio management team to find small cap stocks that are misunderstood, undervalued, or ignored by major Wall Street firms.

All small cap stocks selected for our portfolio meet Neumeier Poma Investment Counsel’s rigorous investment criteria:

• Compelling, high-quality companies
• Stock trades at a discount
• Identifiable growth “catalysts”
• Negative screen of certain industries and business practices

Neumeier Poma Investment Counsel’s investment team is made up of bottom-up stock pickers who use fundamental research to locate and evaluate undiscovered or misunderstood companies of the small cap universe.
